The Advantages of Insight

When you take advantage instead of using advantage, simply because you do not see an advantage, you can ultimately lose advantage.

HUH?!! What does that mean? .....

Sometimes we simply lose focus on what is really important to us. At times we may have an opportunity arise - the opportunity to learn, to gain leverage, to come up on top that we, most of the time not meaning to, block ourselves or miss out on the "bigger picture" because we are looking down a mental one-way road we have created. We can miss an opportunity to grow being as though, at that moment, it has no monetary value or immediate gratification to it so it seems a waste of time; failing to realize this opportunity presented may be offering you a new experience you may need to get to where you want to be, a chance for you to showcase your talents, maybe even an opportunity for you to use your integrity, or providing a lesson to open your mind and exercise the chance to change your attitude or thought patterns. Be mindful and take all things into consideration. You never know what the decisions of today can bring tomorrow if you are still traveling down that one-way road of yesterday.
